Just to confirm, there is some flexibility in the Pathways - so Please do put your preferred options / choices and these will be collated. I would suggest you let me know as soon as possible as it will be easier to facilitate the earlier we know. However, I do need to state that late applications will not have the flexibility.
any chance law could be put in?
ReplyDeleteI have only had a few questions about Law but I have noted this one.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the look of the new sixth form but I want to do photography A level. I would also like to do media A level with the other choices i want being history and geography and maybe food A levels. Is there going to be any other changes or can I do one subject somewhere else?
ReplyDeleteAt the moment it is unlikely we will be offering Photography / Media. But I have note dyour request. I would suggest you consider what you want to do Post A levels as any University course would consider the subjects we are offering - It might be worth a consultation with Connexions although you are very welcome to come and see me to look at your future aims. Study elsewhere is a possibility - again, you would need to look at where / when this would be - Is there not an evening Photography course in oxford?
ReplyDeleteMy daughter attends BCC where she has today had a "taster day" for sixth form.
ReplyDeleteShe enjoyed the law lesson and is keen to study this , but not at BCC.
Is the any likelihood of law being available at Cooper School?
At the moment it is unlikely for next year. But I would refer you to my earlier point about the range of A levels that are applicable for studying Law at university is wide. It might be an idea to book into connexions and look at options post 18/19 in term of preferred A level subjects. If you wish to discuss this further with me you are very welcome to come into school. cate mallalieu-needle
