Sixth Form Open evening

Impressive attendance
The Sixth form Open Evening was held in the Post 16 centre last night. The school was delighted to be overwhelmed by the numbers of prospective students and their parents. The doors opened at 6pm and the queue to sign in for the evening extended across the school. It took 15 minutes to get everybody through the door.


Departmental stands
Each department hosted a stand with information on available courses. The response of parents and students was very positive and comments were made frequently about the enthusiasm of the staff and the quality / range of the available courses.


Year 12 front the evening
The current Year 12 were impressive in their commitment and support of the school and each department had a group of students available to explain their experience of the subject, to outline both the challenges and the aspects that have interested and inspired them. The centre was full of activity, people, noise and conversation.
