2012 begins with a PANTO

The A level Performing Arts' students dazzled us last night

with a panto based on Snow White.

This production was a significant part of their assessment for their A level. The music, costumes, songs and technical wizardry created an entertaining modern slant on this fairytale. The impressive script was written by the students themselves and the entire production was student created. The time, efforts and creativity of these Year 12 was notable in all areas.

Memorable moments:

  • The dwarfs..... 6 of them and 'Dave'

  • Abi Smith as 'Dave' - the cool DJ dude of a dwarf with a flower in his mouth!

  • Lauren Kerwin - unrecognisable as 'Plumpy' the dwarf in a fat suit ... and dancing too!

  • Josh Bream - resplendent in a red, diaphanous gown with feathers and sparkly trousers

  • Dan Pearson and his 'dancing'

  • Cassie Mulhall - a fantastic old lady story teller / narrator

  • Hannah Cherry and Joe Hayes during the mirror / queen interchanges!

Thanks to all these students, Mrs Eggleston and Mrs Beckett for their advice and guidance!
